Relocating to Vanuatu: Stress-Free Shipping of Household and Personal Effects
We can assist you with all Origin Services, such as seeking out Removalist and Packing services, agents with Warehousing capabilities, Transport of Full Container Load (FCL) and Less Container Load (LCL) shipments, Container leasing & Container purchases, Dangerous goods declarations and various other services on application.
We will make the bookings for you on the desired vessel and arrange all documentation required for export from Origin. On arrival in Vanuatu, we can submit on your behalf documents required by customs, immigration, quarantine and otherwise.
The required documents are;
- Residency Permit
- Completed X-20 Exemption form
- Passport
- Commercial invoices and/or completed inventory list with value declarations.
- Personal effects in conjunction with a residency permit are granted exemptions from Duty and VAT for a 6 month period from the date of issue, provided the goods have been owned for more than 12 months.
Extensions are possible and are submitted to relevant authorities on a case by case basis.
For Export, we can make arrangements for containers to be available for loading, arrange labour / equipment to assist in packing and loading if required.
