When shipping personal effects to Vanuatu, some of the required documents to be presented are;
Residency Permit , completed X-20 Exemption form, Passport, Commercial invoices and/or completed inventory list with value declarations.
Personal effects in conjunction with a residency permit are granted exemptions from Duty and VAT for a 6 month period from the date of issue, provided the goods have been owned for more than 12 months.
Extensions are possible and are submitted to relevant authorities on a case by case basis.
If it is for export, we will ensure all documentation required is obtained from you and forwarded onto the nominated agent at the final destination.
